An Listening and Spoken Language Specialist Certified Auditory-Verbal Therapist (LSLS Cert. AVT) coaches families to help their child develop spoken language through everyday listening experiences. They have been certified through a 3-5 year mentoring process through A.G.Bell Academy.
How do I know if my child needs LSL services?
If your child has hearing loss or communication delays, LSL services can support their speech and language development. An evaluation can determine the best approach for your child's unique needs.
What does parent coaching entail?
Parent coaching involves personalized guidance, strategies, and resources to empower you in facilitating your child's learning and communication skills at home.
I want you to be the main source of listening and spoken language for your child as we are only with you 1-2 times a week!
What support is available after cochlear implant surgery?
I offer comprehensive pre- and post-cochlear implant support, including therapy sessions and treatment planning to maximize your child's auditory and speech abilities after implantation.
